LATE 2026 MARKET NOTES

New Jersey dispensary sales are large. Cash planning is still local.

Certified CRC totals say how much legal cannabis sold. They do not say what share of those sales was cash. A dispensary owner still has to plan for customers who need cash before they reach the counter.

Use the certified totals for the big picture

The CRC quarterly sales report shows certified recreational sales of $270,053,368 in the first quarter of 2026 and $270,118,655 in the second quarter. Medicinal sales were $5,289,550 and $4,361,636 in those quarters. The first-half recreational total was $540,172,023. The report leaves the third and fourth quarters of 2026 blank, and it notes that some data may be updated when money is collected after a prior report.

For a longer view, the same report shows certified recreational sales of $1,118,003,986 in full-year 2025. Medicinal sales have been the smaller line. The CRC reports page listed 42,191 medicinal patients as of October 15, 2026.

Monthly slides are a different dataset

The July 16, 2026 slides label monthly sales as uncertified Metrc figures. They put adult-use sales at $115,307,570 in June 2026, up 22.8% from June 2025. Combined transactions that month were 3,469,103, up 26% from a year earlier. Do not add those monthly figures and expect them to match the certified quarterly total. The CRC presents them separately.

County shares on those slides are useful for a dispensary comparing regions. Camden was 10.16% of combined June 2026 sales. Monmouth was 9.76%. Burlington was 9.28%. The county pages repeat the share for that county only. A share is not your store's revenue.

What this means for the ATM

This site does not have a CRC statistic for the cash share of purchases. Dispensary operators still tell us customers want cash in the building. Full-service placement puts company-supplied cash in the ATM so your working capital can stay in the business. That is a program term for qualifying locations, not a claim about your bank account.

If you own the machine, cash loading is part of the operating plan we discuss. Either way, the next step is your municipality, your floor, and your expected withdrawals. Start with the New Jersey county pages or call 973-452-4131.

Questions from dispensary operators

Are June 2026 sales of $115.3 million the official half-year total?

No. That June figure is an uncertified monthly number from the July 16, 2026 CRC slides. The certified recreational total for January through June 2026 is $540,172,023.

Does a higher county sales share mean you should install an ATM?

No. It is context. Your store still has to fit the room, the license, and the program you choose.
